created gallery located on the NCMC campus, Trenton, Missouri. We are a
small but progressive college with a newly developed art department. The

IMPRESSIONISM JURIED COMPETITION
$500 GRAND PRIZE!
Hurry! The entry deadline
is drawing near for the Vista Art Show "Impressionism" Juried
Exhibition. Open to all artists, anywhere in the world. Original,
2-dimensional works in any medium by the entering artist are eligible.
Entered artwork may be of any subject matter, using the impressionist
style of loose, representational art, visible brushstrokes, etc.
"Impressionists" will be exhibited from April 1, 2008 to June
30, 2008 at www.VistaArtShow.com with a physical gallery exhibit of the
Judges Choice "Best of" winners at Westboro Fine Arts Gallery
in Topeka, Kansas. The juror will choose the Vista "Best of"
from all entries received. Grand Prize Winner will earn a $500 cash
prize. Prize money awarded for 1st through 5th places. Vista "Best
of" certificates and recognition awarded to the top 10 finalists.

City of Merriam, Kansas, is now accepting applications for
the artists to be considered to exhibit at the Irene B. French
Community Center Art Gallery, 5701 Merriam Drive, Merriam KS, for
fiscal year 2009. The deadline for applying for consideration is
Sunday, July 6th at 5:00pm. Five digitals must be
included with the application, which can be downloaded by visiting

Gladstone Arts Commission
is seeking artists interested in
displaying their work as part of the rotating art collection
featured in
the Gladstone Community Center Public Art Space of the Gladstone
Community Center. Artists selected by the Selection Committee will
display their works for a period of up to 6 weeks during the time
period
of Sept. 2008 and July 2009.
Interested artists should submit an application and 5 digital
images
of representative work. Only art that is able to hang can be
accepted.
Digital files should be submitted on a CD and must be labeled with
name,
address and telephone number, the title, medium, dimensions, date
and
with the top of the work identified. Each image must be submitted
in
JPEG or TIF format. Each image must be at least 300dpl and
readable by
Adobe Photoshop.
A completed application must accompany each submission. The
