Rosemary Begley grew up in New York City and Shelter Island, New York. Time spent on the seashore and in the countryside, in stark contrast to the streets of the city, developed in her a passion for beauty in life. Inspired by a love of her subject matter and the beauty of God’s creation, Rosemary is motivated to portray His majesty, serenity and splendor.

     She obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kenyon College in Ohio, and has studied with nationally known artists Harry Fredman, Donna Aldridge and Mark Weber. Her work extends into oils, pastels and watercolors that include portrait, landscape and still-life painting.
