A lifetime passion for painting has carried me through a fifty year career.  My formal training was at the University of Kansas where I majored in drawing and painting.  After college I lived in the San Francisco bay area where I followed the California plein air painters and many other contemporary influences. At home in Kansas I served in many art organizations, taught workshops and painting classes often taking my students into the field for plein air painting. I shared a studio and painted  with my husband Bill McCall for over 50 years.  Most often my style incorporates working from life with lush colors and free brush strokes.

I have the privilege of showing my work in the region's finest galleries and in many notable shows including the Kansas Masters and the Flint Hills Masters.  My paintings are in numerous private and corporate collections all over the region.
