Professionally speaking, I've been doing human, equine and canine portraiture since I was 11 years old. Although I tried to take my collegiate art in the more "practical" direction of Industrial Design, I just wasn't satisfied. Although I received several scholarships and design awards, I lost the enthusiasm I felt as I'd get completely lost doing a portrait of a friend. Almost immediately after I graduated with my Bachelors of Fine Arts from Brigham Young University, I returned to portraiture and it honestly felt like coming home! I love what I do! Since that time, I have grown rapidly and met many wonderful people. I am consistently doing work for national as well as international clients and am featured at various shows on a regular basis.
